"It is a little cute cafe next to a railway. I really liked the Pandan Kaya Basque! So good! Tried the matcha blueberry and it was okay. I will try their coffee next time. I think it will match better with the cake."

"There are a bunch of small cafes around this area serving matcha, but I'm so glad we chose to come here! Their matcha is so good, I had the blueberry matcha with oat milk and it was fantastic. Not too sweet, not too bitter, just a lovely flavour combo all around their blueberry matcha cheesecake was also delicious, and all their matcha are a lovely deep green thank you!"

"Went to South Yarra so I had to check this cute Japanese cafe from my list!!! We tried the iced blueberry matcha and iced matcha latte as it’s summer now super hot weather!! Love it so much as I can taste the strong matcha (personally love bitter matcha) so this is the one! The blueberry matcha is not sweet too and it goes so well with the matcha!! We also get to meet the cutie dog - Sesame!!!! Will definitely be back to try out their cakes."

"came to try the blueberry matcha and i’m obsessed, i genuinely think about it almost everyday. Matcha was green and earthy while the blueberry gave it a slight sweetness and floral taste, definitely pairs well with the matcha. I love that i can actually taste the matcha and the blueberry jam compliments it instead of overpowering it. My friend got the banana matcha and it was just alright, the banana milk was too strong and could barely taste the matcha. Definitelyyy go for the blueberry matcha or just matcha latte"

"Bought the iced blueberry matcha drink, the pandan coconut cheesecake and the blueberry matcha cheesecake. Everything was delicious! The matcha was on the sweeter side but nothing too sweet - really enjoyable. The cakes were so yum - not too sweet at all. Staff were so nice and friendly. I cannot wait to visit again :)"

"My partner and i love making the trip to meet forest! The staff are ALWAYS super friendly and welcoming. Their Matcha is delicious and the basque cheesecake is the perfect sweet treat. I would recommend this as a must visit matcha spot in Melbourne. Also, sesame is definitely worth the trip aswell! I would love if they did new special edition matcha flavours more often :)"

"The best matcha in all of South Yarra, and probably Melbourne. Decently priced, perfect balance that isn’t too bitter and isn’t sweetened. Skip the flavoured ones and just go pure, it’s unbelievable. And the staff are SO lovely and friendly. Always a great experience! Even better if you get to see Sesame"
